Shake Table Test of Scaled Masonry Structure Using Rubber Tire Crumbs Mortar

The existence of masonry walls in structures is very useful increasing the structure's resistance to lateral loads. role more important providing adequate stiffness and damping than resisting axial forces. use rubber tire crumbs (RTC) mortar on increase ductility capacity wall. This study examines application RTC walls, particular for ratio aims determine optimum content by observing its dynamic properties using shake table test. specimens were 4 scaled models with containing 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% RTC. prototype a 3D half-brick wall 2.5 m high x m2 plane, scale 2 provide miniature model. There are types loads, namely sinusoidal loads Yogya earthquake load has an amplitude 0.1g frequency range between Hz 20 Hz, while 0.1 g 0.9 g. results showed that can reduce drift ratio. recommends 30% sand volume.
